Hackathons are the new playground for your ideas. Me and my friend were looking for some playground only then we came across one of the event which was happening at NSIT dwarka. The hackathon topic was A/B testing. Those who don’t know it is a type of testing which is basically use at the front-end. It is comparing two versions of a web page to see which one performs better. You compare two web pages by showing the two variants (let’s call them A and B) to similar visitors at the same time. The one that gives a better conversion rate, wins!
However getting an interesting problem is what excites and having no idea about the things you are going to start. We came to know some of the basics and tried to develop something of nothing as being from python background we had no idea of using javascript. As if we talk about the front-end it all about javascript. There are so many framework that currently are being used by firms for A/B testing. Sixpack is one of the framework that is available in the different languages like python, javascript, java, php,ruby and many others. While exploring about sixpack came to know it can be integrated with languages to.
Hackathon has always been a fun place for me. Exploring new field and learning new stuff that what makes it more interesting :)
